Helga Elisabeth Foght was a Danish textile artist born on December 11, 1902, known for her expertise in calico printing. She established her own screen-printing workshop in 1937, beginning with floral designs before shifting to more abstract and strip-based patterns. Her designs were extensively used in commercial production by the L.F. Foght textile company. Additionally, Foght contributed to education by teaching at the Danish Arts and Crafts School until 1970. She passed away on November 23, 1974.
