Helge Ness was a Norwegian cartoonist, illustrator, and children's book author born in 1948 in Alvdal, Hedmark. He illustrated numerous books, particularly those with themes from the northern part of Østerdalen. His works contributed significantly to children's literature in Norway until his passing in 2013.
