Helmut Rychtar (February 23, 1942 – October 10, 2022) was a Serbian dramatist, author, and broadcaster. Following his education at the Serbian Secondary School in Bautzen, he studied theater science in Leipzig. He worked as a dramaturge and later as a broadcaster with a focus on Serb programming. Rychtar contributed significantly to Serbian theater and was noted for his play 'Njezbožo' and his involvement with the state security service of East Germany. He had a notable career in promoting Serbian culture and literature.
