Helvi Linnea Karahka was a Finnish journalist, librarian, and author of children's and youth literature. She graduated from Turun suomalainen yhteiskoulu in 1930 and worked as a librarian from 1934 to 1939. From 1939 to 1944, she served as an editorial secretary at Sirkka and wrote for the children's section at Helsingin Sanomat. Later, she was an accredited correspondent and a freelance journalist for Swedish radio's Finnish department. She lived in Sweden from 1944 until her passing.
