Henk van Zuiden, born on January 7, 1951, in Apeldoorn, is a Dutch poet, writer, and anthologist. As the seventh son in a family with five daughters, he took up various roles including editor for a poetry series and coordinator for the Lonely Funeral in The Hague. He became known for writing personalized funeral poems and compiling anthologies. Over the years, he has produced numerous collections of poetry and prose, earning him the title of the 'Poetry Selector of the Fatherland.' His first anthology appeared in 1981, and his debut poetry was published in 1983.
