Færevåg also worked as a sports journalist for Bergens Tidende, served as the sports journalist and foreign editor at TV 2, and was the information director at Luftfartsverket. Additionally, he founded the websites iBergen and iOslo. He was born on October 5, 1952, and passed away on December 26, 2010.
