Henry Kock (1952 – December 25, 2005) was a prominent horticulturist and eco-activist, known for founding the Elm Recovery Project in Ontario. He grew up in Sarnia, Ontario, working at his family's nursery and graduated from the University of Guelph in 1977 with a focus on horticulture. Known as 'Mr. Arboretum', Kock remained active in his field, contributing to environmental conservation until he was diagnosed with brain cancer in July 2004, which eventually led to his passing on Christmas Day, 2005, at the age of 53.
