Henry M. Morris (October 6, 1918 – February 25, 2006) was an American young Earth creationist and theologian. He was a co-founder of the Creation Research Society and the Institute for Creation Research. Often referred to as the 'father of modern creation science', he grew up in Texas and graduated from Rice University with a degree in civil engineering in 1939. Morris married Mary Louise on January 24, 1940, and had six children.
