Henryk Glapiński, also known as Klinga, was a Polish army captain and underground independence fighter born on December 28, 1915, in Częstochowa. During the German occupation, he served in the National Armed Organization and the Home Army, and was imprisoned in the Groß-Rosen concentration camp. In March 1946, he became the commander of the Radomsko district of the Conspiracy Army of Poland (KWP), leading successful operations against the communist authorities until his arrest by the UB due to provocation in September 1946. He was executed on February 19, 1947.
