Henryk Markwica was a Polish Roman Catholic priest born on January 27, 1942, in Łagiewniki. He served as the archdiocesan moderator of the Light-Life movement in the Archdiocese of Katowice. Markwica was also an academic pastor and held the title of canon. He dedicated his life to spiritual service until his passing on February 18, 1999, in Nowy Sącz.
