Herbert Leroy Remington (1926–2018) was a notable American lap steel guitarist recognized for his contributions to Western swing music during the late 1940s. He was a prominent member of Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, and his unique playing style blended Hawaiian influences with jazz elements. A significant recording of his was "Boot Heel Drag," featured on the B-side of Wills's famous track "Faded Love." Another of his well-known works is "Remington's Ride," which gained popularity among steel guitar players.
