Hideharu Akaza is a Japanese manga artist born on December 29, 1952, in Kani, Gifu Prefecture. He graduated from Gifu Prefectural Kamo High School and debuted in 1970 with 'Cat and the Princess' in Ribon Comic. He mainly writes four-panel comics and short works for magazines like Ribon and Manga Time. He is one of the few male manga artists active primarily in shoujo manga today, and he also teaches at Trident Design School. Additionally, he offers paid caricature drawing services in commercial facilities in Gifu and Aichi Prefectures.
