Hideki Kubo, born on February 15, 1970, is a Japanese children's literature writer from Hiroshima. He graduated from Hiroshima Minami High School in 1988 and later studied children's literature specialization at the Japan Children's Education School, graduating in 1992. Kubo was a member of the Japan Children's Literature Association and the Japan Children's Writers Association. As of July 2023, he changed his pen name from 'Kubohideki' to Hideki Kubo, formally noted on his official website through a publication in 'Japan Children's Literature' magazine.
