Known for his work under the pen names Kurashiki Hikaru for lyrics and Michael Morati for composition, he led Flashpoint Co., Ltd. He produced various artists, including Kiyoshi Hasegawa, Rie Ida & 42nd Street, and Hitomi Toyama, as well as music for films, TV dramas, and games. His nickname 'flash' was coined by broadcaster Peter Barakan.
