Hillous Buel 'Bew' Butrum (1928-2002) was an American country music guitar player and producer known for his work with Hank Williams' Drifting Cowboys. He began at 16 as a staff musician on the Grand Ole Opry and played bass for Williams from 1949 to 1950. Butrum later joined Hank Snow's band, worked with Marty Robbins, and established a music publishing company. He produced country music documentaries and toured with the reformed Drifting Cowboys from 1977 to 1984. He passed away shortly after his wife's death.
