Hirofumi Kasuga is a Japanese guitarist and music producer, born on January 25, 1954, in Aoyama, Minato, Tokyo. He was the leader and guitarist of the band Carmen Maki & OZ in the 1970s. Known by the nickname 'Hachi', he graduated from Nagayato Elementary School and Hachiyama Junior High School in Shibuya, but dropped out of Sakura-machi High School. After OZ disbanded, he collaborated with artists like Reiichi Nakai and RC Succession. In the late 1980s, he moved to Seoul, South Korea, to focus on music production for various musicians.
