He is recognized for his vivid use of colors such as vermilion, gold, dark blue, and deep green, and for detailed character expressions and decorations in costumes and items. Nakamura also publishes rough sketches and parody manga under the pseudonym 'Doji'. He is famous for being a slow writer, causing delays in his commercial works.
