Hironao Meguro is a Japanese biathlete born on May 18, 1973, in Hirokami, Niigata. He represented Japan at the Winter Olympics and Biathlon World Championships from 1997 to 2002. Meguro trained with the Japan Self-Defense Forces and began biathlon training in 1992 after a stint in cross-country skiing. He achieved notable results including a 7th place finish in a relay at Antholz in 1997 and competed in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, finishing 66th in the individual race. He won multiple events at the 2003 Asian Winter Games.
