Hiun Ryū, born Ryū Hiun (April 2, 1955 – February 14, 2007), was a martial artist from Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. He served as a master at the Seiryu-kai Chinese Martial Arts Dojo and was known for teaching various disciplines including Qigong, Snake Fist, and Yang-style Tai Chi. His motto was 'Martial arts that cannot be used in real combat are meaningless.' Besides his martial arts career, he was active in writing, appearing in TV and magazines, and releasing martial arts instructional videos.
