Holice Edward Turnbow, born on October 1, 1930, is a prominent American quilter, artist, and textile consultant. Active since the early 1970s, he has curated, judged, and lectured at numerous quilting events across the United States and Canada. A certified judge and teacher by the National Quilting Association, he co-founded the Hoffman Challenge in 1988, a nationally recognized contest for quilting, clothing, and dolls that attracts hundreds of participants. His designs have also been commissioned by several companies, including Spartex, Inc., Stencil House, and Benartex, Inc.
