Horacio Domingo Campiglia, commonly known as Petrus, was an Argentine guerrilla, politician, and military leader born in Buenos Aires on June 6, 1949. He was a founding member of the guerrilla organization Montoneros in 1970, where he played a significant role in its leadership. Campiglia was forcibly disappeared on March 11, 1980, during the period known as the National Reorganization Process, which involved the use of Operation Condor to suppress dissent in South America.
