Hōshōryū Tomokatsu, born Sugarragchaagiin Byambasuren on May 22, 1999, is a prominent Mongolian sumo wrestler from Ulaanbaatar. He began his professional career in January 2018 and is affiliated with Tatsunami stable. Known for his exceptional throwing skills, he has achieved notable success, including winning the top division title in July 2023, which led to his promotion to the rank of ōzeki. Notably, he is the nephew of the esteemed 68th yokozuna, Asashōryū.
