Howard Dully is an American memoirist born on November 30, 1948. He is known for being one of the youngest survivors of the transorbital lobotomy, a procedure he underwent at the age of 12. Dully gained international recognition in 2005 when his story was featured on National Public Radio. He further chronicled his experiences and struggles related to his lobotomy in his memoir, 'My Lobotomy,' published in 2007, which became a New York Times Best Seller and was co-authored with Charles Fleming.
