Howard L. Cory was a collective pseudonym used by Julie Ann Jardine and her husband Jack Owen Jardine, under which they published two science fiction novels. Julie, born on February 6, 1926, in Harbin, Manchuria, was also an accomplished actress and dancer, performing for 30 years under the stage name Corrie Howard. She was married twice, her second marriage being to Jack Owen Jardine in 1958, which ended in divorce in 1968. Julie had one daughter from her first marriage.
