Hrachya Matevosyan (also known as Hracho) was an Armenian writer, publicist, and journalist born on May 12, 1937, in Ahnidzor, Alaverdi District, Armenian SSR, USSR. He was a member of the Armenian Writers' Union since 1985 and is known as the brother of Hrant Matevosyan. He passed away on June 29, 2016, in Yerevan, Armenia. Matevosyan's contributions to literature and journalism have established him as a notable figure in Armenian cultural and literary history.
