Hrant Batikyan was an Armenian biologist and geneticist born in Baku, Russian Empire on December 26, 1909. He achieved the title of Doctor of Biological Sciences in 1950 and became a professor in 1951. His contributions to science earned him the title of Honored Scientist of the Armenian SSR in 1961. Batikyan passed away on March 31, 1983, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR. He is recognized for his work in genetics and has made significant contributions to the field of biology.
