Hristo Markov is a Bulgarian politician who served as a deputy in the Seventh Grand National Assembly and the Thirty-Sixth National Assembly. He was the secretary of the parliamentary group of the Union of Democratic Forces (SDS). A member of the Democratic Party, he has been part of its Supreme Party Council since 1991. Markov is notably one of the 39 deputies who did not sign the constitution and participated in a hunger strike against its adoption.
