Hu Jicheng (December 1915 – May 15, 2016) was a prominent Chinese military leader, notably serving as a major general in the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). He joined the Red Army in February 1931 and became a member of the Chinese Communist Party in 1933. Throughout his career, he held various ranks, ultimately commanding the 42nd Army and serving in important leadership positions within the Chengdu Military Region. He was recognized with several awards for his service, including multiple military honors. Hu passed away on May 15, 2016, in Chengdu.
