Huimin Bhikshu, born Guo Minfang on January 22, 1954, in Tainan, Taiwan, is a prominent Taiwanese Buddhist monk, scholar, educator, and Dharma propagator. He currently serves as the abbot of Dharma Drum Mountain and the director of the Buddhist Electronic Texts Foundation. After graduating from Taipei Medical University in 1975, he became a monk in 1979 and later earned a Ph.D. in literature from the University of Tokyo in 1992. He has held various academic and administrative roles in Buddhist education.
