Hyman Aaron 'Hy' Lit (1934-2007) was a prominent American disc jockey in Philadelphia for over 50 years. His career spanned from the 1950s until 2005, during which he worked at several radio stations including WIBG and WDAS. Lit was famously known as 'the Jet Jockey on Flight 99' at WIBG. His last tenure was at 98.1 WOGL from 1989 until late 2005. He was recognized for his contributions to broadcasting when he was inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Hall of Fame in 2003.
