Hyungsuck Cho is a prominent South Korean roboticist and emeritus professor at KAIST. He graduated from Seoul National University in Mechanical Engineering in 1971 and earned his master's and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern University and UC Berkeley, respectively. Cho led the Control Automation Lab at KAIST for 36 years and trained many doctoral and master's students, contributing significantly to Korean engineering. He developed various robotics technologies and was recognized with a lifetime extension of his tenure at KAIST for his contributions to engineering and research.
