Ian Michael Howfield is a former American football placekicker born on June 4, 1966. He played in the NFL and AFL and was a player at the University of Tennessee. Over his six-year NFL career, he played for several teams, including the Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, Houston Oilers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 1991, he was the leading scorer for the Oilers. Ian is the son of Bobby Howfield, another former NFL placekicker.
