Ian Proërer, born November 8, 1966, in Nantes and residing in Quimper, is a French musician best known as the co-founder and first drummer of the rock band Red Cardell from 1992 to 2001. A versatile musician, he played in various bands and accompanied artists from 2001 to 2013 across genres like power pop, traditional music, protest rock, and French chanson. He was the drummer for the heavy metal band Axton Pryte from 1984 to 1987 and returned to his roots in 2013 by joining What a Mess and Night Prowler, tribute bands that cover hard rock classics.
