Previously, he has earned bronze medals with former partners Katarina Del Camp and Eliana Gropman, including the 2021 U.S. junior national bronze and the 2019 U.S. national junior bronze. Somerville and Gropman were also placed in the top twelve at the 2019 World Junior Championships.
