İbrahim Berberoğlu is a Turkish bureaucrat born on May 18, 1954, in Ordu. He graduated from Ankara University in 1976 and began his public service at the Ministry of Finance. He served as Deputy Executive Director representing Turkey at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development from 1991 to 1994. After resigning from public service in 1995, he worked in various senior positions in the private sector. Subsequently, he returned to public service, holding several prominent roles, including Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance until his retirement in 2019.
