Ida Widawati, born on January 7, 1956, is an Indonesian degung singer from an artistic family, developing her talent early under Ibu Sumekar's guidance. She started her music career in 1973, releasing 20 cassettes and leading Lingkung Seni Malati. Her international debut was in 1974 in Amsterdam. Notable achievements include awards at various Sundanese singing competitions, with a significant breakthrough in 1994 through a live performance CD in France, featuring her famous CD 'Udan Mas' released in 1998.
