Idha Anna Maria Övelius, known as Idha, is a Swedish singer/songwriter born on May 22, 1972. She gained prominence in the 1990s with two albums on Creation Records: 'Melody Inn' and 'Troublemaker'. Her music evolved from country-tinged folk-rock to a fuller sound with her later album. Idha was married to guitarist Andy Bell and has two children. She retired from music in 2000 and has worked as a structural engineer since 2009. Idha currently resides in Stockholm with her children.
