Ido Zannetti, also known as Guido Zannetti, was an Italian aviator and military officer born on March 31, 1912, in Civitella di Romagna. He was a fighter pilot who gained recognition during the Spanish Civil War as the commander of the Autonomous Machine Gun Squadron "Frecce." He was posthumously awarded the Gold Medal for Military Valor for his bravery in combat before he tragically died on November 1, 1938, in Barcelona.
