İdris Sami Tandoğdu was a Turkish politician born on February 18, 1945, in Fatsa, Ordu, and passed away on August 21, 2013. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and specialized in Radiology and Radiotherapy at Ankara Yüksek İhtisas Hospital. Tandoğdu served as a Radiology specialist at Çankırı State Hospital and represented the CHP as a Member of Parliament for Ordu in the 22nd term. He was married and had two children.
