Igor Vovkovinskiy (September 18, 1982 - August 20, 2021) was a Ukrainian-American actor known for being the tallest person in the United States, measuring 7 feet 8.33 inches (2.34 m). He gained fame after arriving from Ukraine in the late 1980s due to his height. He sought treatment at the Mayo Clinic for a tumor affecting his pituitary gland, which caused abnormal growth hormone levels. Vovkovinskiy appeared in commercials, films, and performed at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013.
