Igor Zelenovič Iggy was a Slovenian guitarist born on December 17, 1966, in Celje. He became a member of the band Celjski grofje in 1982, pioneering heavy metal music in Celje. Iggy later joined the band Xenon and co-founded Veronique. His guitar style combined classic blues rock influences from artists like Rory Gallagher and Jimmy Page with 70s and 80s heavy metal. After 1990, he shifted to jazz rock fusion. Iggy passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2013, at the age of 46.
