Inagaki Masako (January 10, 1907 - October 6, 1981) was a Japanese children's literature writer born in Tokyo. She graduated from Tokyo Women's Higher School, Baika Women's Professional School (now Baika Women's University), and Waseda University. Inagaki worked at the Waseda University Library for four years before marrying Inagaki Tatsuhiro. From around 1955, she began publishing her works in the children's literature magazine 'Da~Capo'. Her notable work, 'Maa Obasan wa Neko ga Suki', won her significant literary awards.
