Iñaki Uria Manterola, born on September 18, 1960, in Zarautz, Gipuzkoa, is a Basque writer and journalist. He has been actively involved in promoting the Basque language and culture. Since 2006, he has served as the director of Hamaika Telebista Hedatzeko Taldea. He was among the founders of the Susa magazine and participated in the revival of the Argia magazine in 1980. Moreover, he played a major role in the establishment of Euskaldunon Egunkaria, the Basque language newspaper.
