A daughter of John Johansson and Lotten Solbreck, she studied at Otte Sköld's painting school and Steiner-Prags painting school. Active in exhibitions throughout the 1940s, she initially created powerful abstract posters but later transitioned to book and brochure illustrations. She is represented in the Cleveland University Exhibit and was awarded stipends for her artistic contributions.
