Inger Gammelgaard Madsen (born January 3, 1960) is a Danish crime author from Vejlby-Risskov near Aarhus. She graduated as a Graphic Designer and published her first crime novel, 'Dukkebarnet', in 2008. Following that, she released her second novel, 'Drab efter begæring', in 2009. In January 2010, she founded her own publishing house, Forlaget Farfalla, where her third crime novel, 'Fremmed indtrængen', was published in August of the same year. Her works often blend fiction and reality, based on contemporary themes.
