Ingeri Engelstad is a Norwegian publishing manager born on February 23, 1972. She studied literary science at the University of Oslo and Berkeley in California. Engelstad began her career in publishing at Pax forlag as an editorial assistant while studying. Since 1999, she has worked at Forlaget Oktober, editing works of renowned authors such as Dag Solstad, Hanne Ørstavik, and Per Petterson. In June 2015, she became the publishing manager at Oktober, succeeding Geir Berdahl. She is the daughter of literature researcher Irene Engelstad and sociologist Fredrik Engelstad.
