Bengt Ingvar Elfström was a pioneer in Swedish diving, born on March 20, 1928, in Göteborg, Sweden. He made significant contributions to the field by inventing the first diving regulator in his kitchen in 1954. In 1958, Elfström co-founded the company Poseidon along with a small group of engineers and diving instructors, which became well-known in the diving industry. He passed away on August 2, 1998, in Näsets församling, Göteborg. His innovations played a crucial role in the development of diving equipment.
