Sven Ingvar Wahlén, born on November 8, 1925, in Ängelholm, was a Swedish author who faced a tumultuous childhood after losing his mother in 1932. He lived with his grandparents but later endured hardship as a foster child. Wahlén escaped back to his grandfather at the age of 16. In 1947, he married Margit Nilsson and had six children. He founded Bokförlaget Settern, which is run by his sons today. Wahlén also published under the pseudonym Sven O. Olsson. He passed away on February 3, 1989, in Örkelljunga.
