He was a member of the Romanian Writers' Union and published ten volumes of poetry and three novels. His literary debut was marked by praise from notable critic George Călinescu. Despite being targeted by the Securitate, Murgeanu refused to accept revolutionary certification. His works, including 'REPAOSE' and 'CONFESIUNEA,' addressed themes of love and social commentary.
