Iosif Mogârzan is a Romanian Orthodox cleric of the Old Calendar and currently serves as the vicar bishop of the Romanian Orthodox Church of the Old Calendar. Born in Slatina, Suceava County on February 3, 1971, he was raised in a devout family and is the seventh of seventeen siblings, many of whom are monks. He embraced monastic life at age 19 and was ordained as a priest in 1995. Following the death of Bishop Cozma Lostun, he became the abbot of the Monastery of Dornelor and was consecrated as a vicar bishop in 2004.
